WiFi LED plug-in dimmer 4-200W/VA - 6701

WiFi led plug dimmer for (filament) led, but also halogen and incandescent lamps. 220-240 V / 4-200 W. Dimension 110x63mm. This dimmer works on WiFi with Alexa, Google Home and the SmartLife app. The dimmer has a soft start for a favorable impact on the life of the applied LED lamps. Switch off by means of the push button. Dimmable between 1 and 100%. Very easy to use. With the WiFi feature, dimming via an app is possible. Just connect the dimmer to the WiFi network and you’re done. Via Alexa and Google Home, for example, voice control is possible.

The simple way to dim LED lights. You do not need to build in, screw and unscrew any dimmer or connect wires. Plug the dimmer into the outlet, plug the lamp into the dimmer and done! Dimming manually? Press the button briefly to turn the dimmer on or off. To dim, press and hold the button longer.

Update: connecting the dimmer (complementary to the manual):

If you are having problems connecting the dimmer, please go through the following steps:

First, check that the dimmer is functioning in manual operation. Connect a lamp to the dimmer and check that it switches on and off nicely, and dims by holding down the button.
Does this not work? Then check that the lamp is dimmable (smart lamps and step dimming lamps will not function on this dimmer).
If this does work, proceed to the next step:

It may help to clear the cache in your app. You can do this in the smart life app:

Click on ‘profile’ at the bottom right
Click on the nut at the top right
Click on ‘Clear Cache’ at the bottom

Activate pairing mode by pressing the button 3 times in quick succession, you will see the lamp blink 3 times (the LED does not keep blinking continuously as the app indicates). If the device is not found within 5 minutes, please put it back into pairing mode, as the process will stop.

In the smart life app click the ‘+’ at the top right
Click ‘lighting’
Click ‘lighting wifi’
Confirm the wifi network with the correct password and press next
Click on ‘confirm the indicator is blinking or breathing’
Now put the dimmer in pairing mode by pressing 3 times quickly
Choose the right option ‘blinking or breathing rapidly’

The app will now search for 2 minutes, usually after about 1 minute the device is found, but please wait the 2 minutes.

Does the above not work? Then look at the following:

Does your new network still have 2.4GHz actively running? If this is not a combined network but the 2.4GHz band has a different SSID, please switch the phone to the 2.4GHz network.
In case you’ve never made any adjustments to the router and don’t know about this, it’s probably just active and skip this step as well.

Should that not work, you could also try it on another device, possibly using someone else’s smart life account.
If it doesn’t work there will be a troubleshooting option at the bottom of the app. You might find the solution there.
To rule out that the problem is caused by your network, you may want to test this on someone else.
