With frogblue, we offer installers and their customers an innovative solution from the flexible home to the smart home. In new buildings, in renovations and in utility construction. Whether for electricity, lighting, heating or alarm system, frogblue works without wires, needs no central unit, is double secure without clouds and can be extended at any time.

Smart home simple and cost-effective – via Bluetooth®

This vision is our driving force. We control the home from any common light switch more cost-effectively than a usual installation in a private home. Central functions for light and blinds, lighting scenarios for various rooms, weather-dependent shading or twilight-controlled outdoor lighting are already standard. From any light switch or from your smartphone on holiday.

Frog – that’s what we call the green box

which sits invisibly in the flush-mounted box behind the light switch. The frogs respond to light buttons, switches and window contacts. They switch, dim, measure and open doors. Via Bluetooth®, they wirelessly connect ‘virtual cables’ with other frogs and exchange commands throughout the building. This happens at lightning speed. They transmit messages from other frogs in encrypted form, thus extending their range.

Easy to install – always expandable

The frogblue Smart Home System is already cost-effective when used purely for lighting a house. It substantially simplifies installation, as the central control functions and the changeover switches are realised wirelessly. Frogblue does not supply wiring harnesses, switch boxes and IT technology. From one frog to hundreds, frogblue can be expanded at any time.

Frogblue is green – saving energy and costs

At just 0.2 watts, our frogs are exceptionally energy-saving. With the typical 30 frogs, this adds up to just 6 watts. In contrast, wired systems with switchgear quickly require 500 W. Even when dimming, energy is saved, as the frogs do not even get hand-warm under full load. This extends the service life. Wiring that is no longer needed also does not have to be produced.

frogKey – one for all

With frogblue, ‘one button’ controls the whole house. When the button is up, the lights are switched on; down the blinds respond and in horizontal position the doors open. Of course, only in the room where the frogKey is currently located. And of course highly securely encrypted. And if things do get serious, a double click switches on the light throughout the house or activates an automatic telephone call with voice message (panic function).

Atmosphere at your fingertips

On a television night, one click is all it takes and all the lights and blinds adjust. When leaving the house, a command lowers the blinds, switches off the heating and all lights and activates the alarm system. This can be activated via display, smartphone or simply by double-clicking the light switch. Should a window or exterior door still be open, this will be indicated.

Alarm system integrated

The frogblue display monitors the building. Wirelessly. Any door, window, light switch or motion detector can trigger an alarm. Filtered in time or only in certain rooms. A call with a spoken message signals the alarm and also reaches those places where the internet no longer works because of a bad connection. Remote control and intercom are also possible by phone.

Doubly secure

Everything stays in the house and everything is encrypted. Without cloud and internet. This is only necessary if you want to control the house from your smartphone.

With frogblue’s ProjectApp, desired changes are quickly converted. All components are merged and saved in one file. Nothing gets lost. And everything is always clear.
